Located in Kabul’s Bist Hazari District, The Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School educates young women, aged 14-18 years old. Working with the leadership of Abdul Rahim Shaheed, The Bayat Foundation’s support enabled the completion of two long standing and important projects: the renovation of the School’s Computer Lab, which included the installation of new desks, carpet and curtains. The renovated computer lab was also equipped with eleven new desktop computers, which will be used by the students to assist and enhance their academic studies.
“Improving education for young Afghans is one of the most important missions our Foundation can accomplish,” said Mrs. Fatema Bayat, the Executive Director of The Bayat Foundation. “Every child has the right to learn.”
“When we give young people the knowledge and skills to build better lives, together, we also give Afghanistan hope for a better future,” said Dr. Ehsanollah Bayat, the Co-Founder of The Bayat Foundation.
